~ Random Thoughts ~

Hmm... I remembered once, a friend of mine asked me, do i have the passion for my job.... and my ans is yes... he then continued to ask: "will i be in this job for long?". my reply was simple... "passion being passion... it just depend on when something else overwrite my passion..."

i guess i have found one thing that overwrites part of the passion... that is... parents... oh well... got screamed over the phone this afternoon by an unreasonable parent.... the feeling is awful... have the urge to scream back... but held back as i remembered my position as a professional....

to parents out there... we are as much concern about your child as you are... do spare a thought for the pple on the other side of the line... he/she is someone with so many tasks on hand... a litter consideration before you scream really helps and much appreciated...

learning in progress... on how to handle aunties and uncles... who see the whole world revolving ard their children and not their children being part of the big big world....

~ Happy 牛 Year ~

haha... the moo moo is here... and my mousey has to wait for another 12 years before it come back... haha... we always have special guest to join us for dinner... and it is the same this year...

he has been here every year with his parents... it is fun to watch him grow up... when he was less than 1 year old, he came and slept throughout the dinner... when he was slightly more than one years old, he came and run ard... when he came again this year... he is already 2 plus years old... and he is able to sit with us and eat together... woo... this is amazing...

he is still very active... have a hard time trying to get his pict... haha... so his dad came up with the idea... put him on a chair and push him ard... he would thought that it is a game... and sit still... whahaha... his dad know him best!!

and he likes to hug is a lot... haha...

It had been a long long time since i last blog... hehe...

the sch just started a week and i feel as if a term had passed. everyday feels like fri. or maybe bcos i hope it is fri... haha...

but thank GOD i have a wonderful dec! Yippie... went bintan for 4D3N. the trip is really great!! too bad it is monsoon season, if not we can do a lot more things. hehe... some interesting pict to share...

~ Singapore Flyer ~

We had a wonderful night last night... it had been a long time since i enjoyed myself so much... thanks to some kind soul... all teachers get to go on the singapore flyer for free... and we can bring 4 pple in at a discounted rate! woohoo... so we decided to go for this once in a life time is enough experience. haha... no point going again i guess.. too ex... haha... so me, he, she and her he went on my flight together.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

it was a fast 30 min.. and we spent most of the time take photo... haha... but the night landscape of CBD area is magnificent! woo... beautiful! haha... will post some pict later when i upload into my com. hehe...

oh well... really long since i enjoyed myself... i guess the last time should be teachers' day.. feel really stressed up recently... at times when i do some soul searching and quiet down... i asked myself... am i happy? somehow or rather... my ans is no... i don't like this feeling of being manupulated. i guess i am too green for such complex working environment. i am too uncompetative for this world of frame and glory...

moreover.. i feel that i have not been spending enough time on things that are more impt. like the youth... which needs more effort and commiment to build it up so that i can go off with a peace of mind in a few years time... hmm....

a friend of mine is thinking of changing job... and i have suggested a few jobs to her... they are related to education. but not the main stream education... as i was telling her all the possibilities... at the back of my mind... i am planning a back door for myself... wait till one day when i can no longer tolerate this environment... i will go... this somewhat motivates me to go for my master. haha... thinking in process...

~ My First Teachers' Day ~

haha... had my first teachers' day celebration this morning... it is... erm... very interesting and touching... haha...

it is also be yourself day and my class dressed up as waiters and waitresses... whahaha... and i joined them... kind of fun... hehe... and thanks to the dress up... i feel that the class is finally united! hehe... people puts in effort to get themselves something... isn't that amazing...

after which it is the concert... and here comes the touching moment... my class boys went on stage to perform... they put up a song that they wrote it themselves. it is very nice and certainly very meaningful... i was so touched when i see how focused they are in performing... haha... they are a group of playful kids who often talk and hand in work late. but at that moment when the lead singer sings "we owe you and apology..." i was so touched and i can feel the sincerity in their words... as the song is coming to an end... the lead singer suddenly walk down the stage... and the teacher beside me keep telling me... " i think he is coming to you. he is walking towards you..." at the moment i was lost... he sang the last line to me and pass me a gift... woo... at that moment i was so so so touched... and... all my hard work and worries pay.... it is really worth it... cos the kids can see and feel that i care... that's all i need and i want... for them to understand teachers are caring for them and want them to grow up... not to make their lives difficult...

hehe... and one more interesting thing... haha... 3 of my sec one boys bought exactly the same winnie the pooh for me... just that they wear diff colour shirt... haha... and... my form class girls also bought me the same one... so i have 4 winnie the pooh on my table... which are exactly the same! haha... so funny!!

~ New Phase of Life ~

I've finally started working!! haha... have been having a "relaxing" week... as it is similar to practicum... haha... but... haha... real work load starts to come in today.. after 2 rounds of meeting... i have mountains of things to do... a long long syllabus to rush... whahaha... good luck to me... haha... and worst of all... something that i never know abt... SPA... can you imagine? i don't know yet i need to conduct... haha... think it is kind of funny... hehe...

i must say the environment in sch is good... hehe... pple ard me are all very helpful and they are willing to guide me along... just that... hmm... one partner that i am working with tend to have a bad habit of escaping from extra work... oh man... must learn to act blur with that person... then i can live longer. haha...

and the best thing given to me is... a lap top... haha... a tablet!! wow!! hehe... it is so amazing... but... i don't really know how to use... will try and learn... if i have the time... haha...

oh well... let's work hard... all the way go!!

~ An Unpleasant Experience ~

i finally find the time to go for some facial services. it was a package that i signed up sometimes ago. hoping to improve my skin condition, i went there. to my surprise, i came back with red dots on my face. the person failed to help me disinfect!

hence i called up the shop again and ask for an explanation. then came a series of excuses...

(1) the person on the line blame it on my sensitive skin. oh well... if that is the case, shouldn't they take precautions to ensure that such a thing doesn't happen?

(2) the person asked me "why didn't you come to us immediately?" my reaction "how would i know if i don't get to see the mirror?" she responded " pple normally go toilet before they leave and hence they will know." ohh... so not going to the toilet before i go is wrong? oh well...

what angered me is not only their service but also their attitude. they don't seem to be apologetic for their neglects and blame on all other things. not a single "sorry" from any of them.

if singapore wants to improve on the service line, i guess this is one area we should start on... learn to say sorry to the locals, and not only the tourists.

after so much, what is the company?

~ Back From a Short Break ~

haha... back from a short trip... didn't step out of singapore... just leave the main island for a 2 day 1 night trip... hehe... we went to the sentosa! whahaha...

it is really fun and this time round, we are not there for the beach or the sun... we are there for the places of attractions... sound so tourist... haha... but i have never been to these places... so decided to go and have an eye opening trip... hehe...

we met up at ard 815am.. which is real early... then head down to sentosa... the day started quite badly as both of us are not feeling very well... we were down with flu... haha... kind of funny... 2 sick people went out to play... haha...

we reached there at ard 10, only to realize that we can check in only at 230pm. so we decided to go and walk around first. our first stop is the palawan beach...

Treasure! haha...

and the bridge! i like this bridge... haha...

after which, we went on to see animals... the close encounter... and the animal that we encounted is this...

erm... can't remember its name... haha... but i know it is a vegetarian. and we get to touch it... hmm... it feels very tough! haha... and the skin is like the smashed shell of M&M chocolate. haha... an interesting experience. haha... then followed by a monkey show. haha... it is then i realize those monkeys will big red butt are female monkeys and it only last for a period when she is ready to mate and give birth.

Next stop... dolphin lagoon! woohoo... somewhere that i have longed to go... haha...

after which, it is check in time! excited!!

then next on the list... underwater world! haha... another place that i longed to go...

in underwater world... we get to touch the sea creatures... like the one above... star fish! haha... and also sting reel... haha... so fun!! hehe...

other than that... we can also learn physics there... we saw this special tank...

realize anything special? haha... the water did not overflow!! why? why? why? actually... i forgot the reason liao... oops... haha...

and we can do this without water flowing out! wow!! haha...

then come the exciting part... the tunnel...
we are like sushi on the conveyer belt... haha...

what's after dinner? song of the sea of course! haha... it is the new musical fountain... with some fire works... very nice... though the storyline has a lot of room for improvement... but we are there for the effects and not really the story plot. haha.. it is worth watching. hehe...

~ Flu Flu Go Away ~

well... have been busy falling sick recently. just recovered and then sick again... argh... hate this feeling. feel so weak... just hope that i will recover by tml... cos monday cannot be sick... haha... finally the day had come... monday... haha... we are going sentosa! woohoo... a very nice place to go... and we will be going to a few places of interest... feel so tourist... haha... but i had never been to these places before... would be an eye opening session to me... *Excited*

hmm... heard a news from hp on wed... it is super shocking! omg... life is just so unpredicable... it can change at any moment... just hope that CYY can stay strong and take up the responsibility as a head of the family.

talking abt life... well... it is indeed unpredicable... with the disaters that strucks recently... i was very shock... shock at how weak human can be... we can invent the best thing in the world... we can create wonders with science and technology... but... we are still unable to prevent disaters from strucking... there is no way we can 人定胜天. instead we should 天人合一! let's pray for those who had lost their lives to these two disaters and also pray that human can wake up.

~ We Have All Grown Up ~

Had a meet up with sec friends.. it had been a long time since we last met... haha... and this time round... our purpose of meeting up is to catch up with each other.. we used to meet up and go shopping... but as we grow up... the purpose changed... we are more concern abt finding out more abt each other's life... haha... maybe also bcos we used to see each other very often... so no point asking as we are very clear of how everyone is doing...

the feeling is very different... everyone now is more or less considered working... the topics we talk abt no longer revolves around sch work... instead... we are talking abt future... in terms of career advancement and one of the first few occasions where marriage and housing appear in our conversation... haha... guess we are abt the age to think of such things...

and today we finally questioned xiao ding... haha... she is just so amazing... keep it from us for 6 months... haha... we questioned her really long... and the best question is from anqi... "所以你们几时要排屋子？" haha... we were all shocked by this question... haha... and it is this question that triggered the topic on housing... haha...

it is a very nice meet up... though it is short... but i really enjoyed myself... though we had grown up... our friendship still feels like the way it was when were still in sec sch... it is a very amazing feeling... and i finally know... what is friends forever! haha...

~ Mixed Feelings ~

Well... it is less than a month to end of my practicum... Yippie! haha...

Hmm... over the past 2 months... i got so used to going to sch at such early hours and see the same class again and again... over the 2 months, we did manage to build a good rapport... but at times, they will still irritates me and make me angry by not doing their homework... you can say that it is normal for students. even the best class in the level can produce poor quality work. what do i mean by low quality? the kind that you can see no effort being put in... you know they just flip through the textbook and copy whatever they can... well well... i always prepare myself to vomit blood whenever i start marking... haha...

these 2 months is filled with all sort of feelings... there are times when i get so angry that i almost cried... and guess what they did when they know i am really angry... they say sorry together... it is so cute that... my anger just disappeared. haha... and of course there are times when we had great fun and share the same stress... haha...

as i am counting down to the last day... deep within me i know that i will miss them... esp THAT class... haha...

~ Start of a New Phase of Life~

i must say... my career just started... it had been about 5 weeks ever since i started my practicum... and it is the time i experience a real sch life... well... i must say... this practicum helps me to realize my passion for teaching... at the same time... this job is no joke!

well... stepping into a classroom is a challenge everyday... you never know how the students' mood will be like for the day... at times i got really pissed off by their attitude and behaviors... but many a times... i also like their company... afterall... they are still young... and immature...

however, the work load that i am having now is really no joke... i need to bring my work home everyday... have been sitting in front of the com everyday since day one... and it had been a long time ever since i went out to really have fun... well well... i guess... it is the price to pay for such high paying job.. so please... don't complaine that we are paid too high... think about the OT work we have to do at home, over the weekend, on public holiday...

~ My New Lappy Decolourized ~

Haha... the pink vaio had turned white! Amazing? i think so too... well... the pink one failed on me on the 8th day... i was searching for some video so that i can conduce my lesson... suddenly it switch off by itself and never wake up from then... i sent it back to the shop and they are nice enough to give me a one for one exchange. unfortunately, pink is too popular and after much negotiation.. they gave me a white one... so i am now the proud owner of a white vaio!

of course i didn't take the pict... gotten it online... haha... after looking at the white one for awhile... i think i will love it more than the pink one... the colour is pure... though it looks like fake mac book... haha...

Yes... finally got my new lap top... a pink vaio... stood at the shop and decide for very long which colour should i choose. final descision: Pink! cos it is easier to maintain and the colour is more unique. hehe... though i like white a lot... but it will become yellow easily and the white on vaio makes it look fake... erm... just not the right feel ba... hehe...

ho ho ho... it is xmas day! hehe... i woke up real early this xmas... to fly somewhere and enjoy my summer xmas... hehe... met up with KOT before my flight to celebrate T's birthday... hehe...

at 0905... the flight took off... this is my first time flying alone....

whenever i went up high in the sky... i can't help it but feel small and amazed by nature!

erm... the clouds look like... hmm... the cream yun, xi and i whipped the day before... oops... hehe...

finally... after 8 hours of flying... i'm at sdy international airport!

i am always proud of singapore changi airport! haha... you know why?

Home Sweet Home...

Finally... i'm home... after much adventure... haha... what an experience!

well... the whole thing goes like this...

i am suppose to take a domestic flight to Perth before heading back to Spore... not that i like to take flight so much but bcos at the point when i book my flight, this is the only option left... well well... i thought things will be fine and i thought aust airport is similar to spore airport... but things just doesn't turn out to be so....

the flight to perth was delayed. yap... not one hour but 2 hours! it is scary... that is when i really feel the fear... fear of not being able to come home on the 4th... haha... cos i am not sure if there is any other flight back to spore...

and then... i really missed the second flight... it took off at 1315... but i touched down at perth at 1330... just a few more min! they put us in a later flight... which take off at 1630... stayed at the airport for 3 hours without lunch...

finally! i touched down at spore T1 at 2045! this feeling is great! i thought i can finally go home... but i was wrong.. my baggages didn't come with me... it came back with SQ!

why so weird? cos it is a lost and found item in perth airport!

and it is a found item by SQ... luckily... SQ brought them back to spore... and they came back to me only the next morning...

well well... it is indeed a learning experience... sometimes i must really believe in the relation - money is proportional to quality!

Amazing!

Went for a lesson on DNA this morning.. i was so amazed... haha... feel like a small kid who just discovered new things... DNA is really something very amazing. it is made up of so many gens that a small defect can make a big diff to the child. something that really strikes me was it is very difficult to be born normal. the lecturer was saying we should feel blessed and thank god that we are born normal bcos many things could have gone wrong. but it didn't happen. isn't it amazing? she also mention that many miscarriages happened around us. as long as the mother's body detected abnormality in the baby, the body will get rid of it naturally. it happened in the first 12weeks. hence we are considered normal enough to our mother's body in order to come to this world. wow... we are already put through so many tests even before we come to this world. woo... totally amazed by the lesson...

and also... we learned that everyone of us have exactly 46 chromosomes. too many or too few will end up in syndromes and illnesses... woo... mother nature is just so amazing. she gives each and everyone diff DNA except identical twins... just imagine how many diff combinations there are... haha...

we also get to try and extract DNA from banana. so fun...

The long awaited 29th Oct is finally here... hehe... today is an impt day in nie... cos it marks the end of phase one of assignment... haha... i have 3 things due today... 1 essay, 1 lesson plan and micro teaching... the highest record so far... haha... though the teaching doesn't turn out to be too well... just glad that it is over... hehe... Haha... my parents and i went to Ikea this afternoon and spent quite a lot there... hehe... time to add new things to my house.. more for my room... hehe... i got myself a new cupboard and a new chair.. the fun part is... i get to fix them myself... hehe... it is tiring but the process is fun... the feeling of building your own things... haha...

What's after B Camp?

Hmm... after B Camp = starting to work... Went for NIE registration on tue and followed by 3 days course... that's why i can't go for c camp... hmm... then going to sch next mon... woo... this is so... exciting... haha... didn't have much time to rest...

Random Thoughts... Self Exploration...

Have been busy with camp planning since my hol started... and one of the prog talks abt self exploration... everyone is engaged in this process.. we are still exploring ourselves... and there is no boundary to this process.. the day it stops will be the day we leave the world.. interestingly... i discovered myself more as my emotions go through the ups and downs..

deep within us.. there really live an angel and a devil... in our normal days.. the devil don't show.. bcos we are able to suppress it... however, when the situation changes.. things are getting at your nerves... this is when the will power of angel reduces and the devil comes into the picture to disturb your sunny day... it brings with it dark clouds and even rainfall... heavy rain fall at times... this is when the bad and dark side of others magnified... actually... i was kind of sick of this feeling... the feeling of devil coming... it is scary... it is awful... argh... well... i guess in life... removing would be a wiser move than suppressing ba... cos one day... you never know when will you be unable to suppress any longer and that is when the devil will conquer the small world of yours... this is when doom day arrived...

This is a weird feeling...

Very weird indeed... have been running in and out of the house , rushing from one place to the other and pushing for things to be produced within a short time for the past one week or so... and after this one week... really feel the drain in my physical body... ya... deep within me... seeking for some time to rest and get my energy back... haha... used to be enaged in brain intensive work from 10am to 10pm for 2 weeks or so and not feel much... woo... now? hmm... time had changed? haha... and more and more pressing issues are coming in... non pressing issues are also taking up the space.. and they can't be ignored... hmm hmm hmm...
